On January 6, 2017, Annika Dean survived a mass shooting in the Fort Lauderdale airport. Just 13 months later, she received a text from her son at his high school in Parkland–a gunman had just opened fire in what would be the deadliest high school shooting in United States history.
Annika shares tender and useful tools that got her and her family through this experience. Tools that we can apply in our everyday challenges–as well as the big crises–to bring peace, hope, and healing. A beautiful interview with lessons that have stayed with me.
