Oh my goodness…THANK YOU to every single person who made this not just a fabulous bday but bday week!!! The celebrations, kindnesses, and tender messages stunned and filled me.
(And thanks to you, I pretty much ate my way through the week and had to undo my top button of my jeans…)
From Hale Center Theater to Gurus, the spa to the temple, Tru Religion to reading in my cozy bed, to breakfast and dinner out (and sometimes in the same day) it was days of connection, deep conversation, and an outpouring of love.
THIS is what makes life so joyful. Not just sweet potato fries, sure, but sharing those fries together with those you love, sharing about who and what you love.
One moment, out of so many moments, in particular stands out. In the temple, I was doing an ordinance. Each time during this ordinance that I saw a particular older woman we kept bursting into tears. We knew this work gif this woman was real, and we were made kindred spirits in the doing.
She left before I could thank her, then I found out she was back at the front desk. I walked toward her and we just gave each other a big hug. No idea why but I knew, I KNEW, there were others in the mix—and very happily—on the other side about the work that was being done.
Love, connection, progression. That’s how I felt this week, over and over. With a side of something yummy…
Thank you and I hope you know how much I love and appreciate each of you. You bless my life!!
