Continuing my series of EZ 10 Meals Kids Can Cook, here’s today’s yummy recipe!
The yummiest, easiest Olive Garden wannabe Sausage and Kale soup! 👏
2 to 3 family-size cans of chicken broth (about 48 -64 oz)
1 pkg Italian sausage Jimmy Dean
1/2 cup dried onion
1 cup to 2 cups chopped cooked bacon (or Kirkland Crumbles)
4 to 5 red potatoes (thinly sliced circles or small chopped)
1 to 2 cups Heavy cream (or half and half)
1 to 2 cups fresh spinach
Put chicken broth in a pot and bring to a boil. Brown sausage and onion, at the last stirring in the bacon.
Add red potatoes, cook until tender. Remove from heat, add heavy cream. Salt and pepper to taste. Add spinach right before serving.
