A few women.
Like a few loaves and fishes, they felt they had something to offer, but didn’t know exactly how to go about it.
But they brought it, to Him.
Nine months ago in a faith-filled January I held my first Disciple Thought Leader Retreat. We spoke of listening to the rumble of divine discontent. We learned better how to Hear Him to get clear. And we determined to get the “skills and understanding” as Daniel said, to make it happen.
During those months we have helped each other grow, learn, and do.
To connect and flourish.
To rise. Together.
These women are now speaking, writing books, creating tools and courses, and here they are holding their own For Him retreats, one in Arizona and one in Utah.
All of this with sharing gospel-grounded messages in their purpose sphere.
Whether it’s been in teaching how to use a miter saw to improve a family’s living space…
or better teach education administrators and parents how to deal with dyslexia…
or how to heal wounded hearts through choosing to change our stories,
these women have done it and continue to do it all For Him.
“So today I plead with my sisters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to step forward!
Take your rightful and needful place in your home, in your community, and in the kingdom of God—more than you ever have before. I plead with you to fulfill President Kimball’s prophecy.
And I promise you in the name of Jesus Christ that as you do so, the Holy Ghost will magnify your influence in an unprecedented way!”
My heart is overflowing at His mercy, goodness, and love that always multiplies and replenishes whatever it touches.
God is good.
